Some of the current fuels may create pinking or detonation even at manufacturers specs
We recommend the total timing on 850-1100 not to exceed 32 degrees
We recommend total timing on 1275 variants not to exceed 28-30 degrees
In cases where not much data is known on hotter engines, conservative settings are safer,
But if you need performance optimizing then  TUNING by MINISPLUS may be the best answer

A POINT  WORTH NOTING IS THAT HIGHER OCTANE FUELS EVAPORATE
THE HIGH POINTS OF THEIR OCTANE OVER A SHORT PERIOD AND  IN SIMPLE
TERMS BECOME LIKE FLAT LEMONADE--  POOR FUEL CAN DESTROY ANY ENGINE VERY QUICKLY ... BUY PREMIUM ULP FRESH AND FROM A HIGH USAGE SERVICE STATION
OUR EXPERIENCES HAVE SHOWN PREMIUM ULP TO BE A VERY
GOOD ALTERNATIVE TO LEADED FUELS
